Does anyone know How to get the the little red lighthouse located at the based of the George Washington Bridge from Midtown Manhattan? Is there a bus or subway that takes you there? I do not want to ride a cab.
Take uptown (A) from 34th St-Penn Station, 42nd St-Port Authority Bus Terminal or 59th St-Columbus Circle to 181st St.
Exit station at 181st St/Ft. Washington Av.
Walk west along 181st St, which goes down the hill 4 blocks to Riverside Drive, where you see Henry Hudson Parkway and Hudson River.
Then make right and cross over pedestrian bridge. Once you get off bridge, just keep follow pedestrian/bike path until you see highway street, where to your right is snake curve hill you go down, through tunnel, bridge over Amtrak.
Once you get through, you’ll security booth to your right and Little Red Lighthouse soon as you pass and make right.
It takes you about 30 minutes hike.

I’m being asked to use the Intermediate Value Theorem to determine if any roots exist for the following equation:
x^3-9x-5 = 0.
I have no idea how I would do this without a specific interval to do it on, though. Could anybody offer some advice?
EDIT: I’m literally being asked for an x-value.
Let f(x) = x^3 – 9x – 5
f(3) = -5
f(4) = 23
Therefore, there exists an x, 3<x<4 for which f(x) = 0.

Hi everybody! I’ve been trying to play snes games on my xbox 360 for a while now, but none of them were successful. The method i am now trying to use is to connect my xbox 360 to Windows Media Center, and play zsnes via WMC.
The only problem is, my zsnes won’t show up in the ‘Extra’s’ section in WMC! Does anyone know How to fix this?
